Our Story
Established in 2014 by Matthew Beacock, EMS was founded with the vision of creating the service technician of the future. The company actively experiments with emerging technologies to develop new services and streamline existing offerings, delivering exceptional value to its clients.
Early in its development, Matthew focused on adapting additive manufacturing to produce end-use parts, tools, jigs, and fixtures specifically for the service industry. However, his progress was interrupted by two devastating events: the loss of his rental property during the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire and a fire at his primary residence in Calgary in 2018.
Faced with significant legal and financial challenges, Matthew made the difficult decision to pause his professional ambitions in order to rebuild his life. He successfully reconstructed both homes and returned to his primary residence by the end of 2022.
Today, Matthew has resumed his pursuit of innovation and independence with renewed determination, driving EMS forward into the future.
